How to get the best results for your artwork

Artwork Guidelines for the Best Custom Sticker Print Quality

To ensure the highest print quality for your custom stickers, labels, decals, or magnets, we recommend submitting vector artwork created in Adobe Illustrator (AI or EPS format) or high-resolution artwork from Adobe Photoshop (TIF, JPG, or PSD format). For optimal results, files should be set to CMYK color mode, at 300 DPI resolution, and sized at 100% of the final printed dimensions.

If your file is already in Illustrator vector format, you can upload it directly with no adjustments. For Photoshop users, verify the resolution by selecting Image > Image Size in the application menu to confirm it meets print standards.

Bleed and Border Options

If you prefer your sticker to have full-bleed artwork without a white border, make sure to extend your design slightly beyond the final sticker size. This allows for clean edge-to-edge printing and ensures your design isn’t unintentionally cropped during trimming.

After uploading your artwork, our system will automatically generate a cut line to show exactly where your sticker will be trimmed. You’ll see this visual cue during the digital proofing process, helping you finalize your layout with precision.

Font and Color Considerations for Stickers, Labels, Decals, and Magnets

When choosing fonts, always go with what best reflects your brand—but keep in mind that thinner fonts may become harder to read, especially on smaller stickers. Larger designs allow for thinner fonts, while smaller items benefit from bold, legible type.

For color contrast, use light fonts or graphics on dark backgrounds, and dark fonts or images on light backgrounds to ensure your message is clearly visible. Good contrast improves visibility and overall impact—especially for stickers used outdoors or in busy environments.
