Powder-coated bottles, stainless steel, hard plastic, and glass all work well, which covers most surfaces you would want to decorate. Textured and porous finishes are the exception, so silicone sleeves and rough matte coatings are worth testing with a single sticker before a full order.

Low-quality paper stickers and thin, unlaminated vinyl give up quickly in a wet environment. Our waterproof stickers are designed for it. Condensation, ice water, sunscreen, and repeated wash cycles do not lift the edges or wash out the color.

Files print best as EPS, AI, TIF, JPG, or PSD in CMYK at 300 dpi, scaled to 100%, with a 1/8 inch bleed on all sides. High resolution images give the cleanest cut edges and the best print quality. Low-resolution images with fine detail can be hard to proof, and we will ask for a better file rather than print something soft.

Most sticker failures start at application, not in the materials. Five minutes of prep separates a design that lasts years from one that lifts at the edge within a month.

1. Wash the bottle with soap and water to strip off oils, then dry it completely. Hand lotion and oily cleaners leave a film no adhesive can grip.
2. Pick the flattest panel you can find. Adhesive holds best where the surface curves least, so avoid seams, threads, and tight corners.
3. Line the sticker up before it touches the bottle. Once the adhesive grabs, repositioning is possible but never as clean.
4. Press from the center outward to push air toward the edges.
5. Give the adhesive time to set before the first trip through the dishwasher.
